Welcome to my Lunalights guide!

In this guide, I will teach you how to use the Lunalights, including, but not limited to, playstyles, cards to include, your goals every game, combos, and skill priorities. Hopefully, after this guide you'll be more willing to pick up Lunalight.

Lunalight

Lunalight was introduced as an archetype in the main box: Judgement Force, on February 28th 2020, and was buffed quite a bit when the Deck Build Box: Wild Spirit came out on November 13th, 2023. As well as gaining a playable character with specialized skills, Celina . Lunalight is one of the cheapest decks in the game, and very F2P friendly; with the most expensive deck I've ever seen for it was around 20.5k gems. The deck utilizes Fusion, Pendulum, and Xyz monsters to obtain a win condition.

Playstyle

Lunalight is an OTK-centric deck, mainly focused on getting out Loading... , a fusion monster that is (almost) Completely immune to card effects, attacks twice, and the first time it attacks clears all special summoned monsters on your opponent’s board. The deck can build consistent boards, and is very good at not running out of resources thanks to monsters like Lunalight Tiger and Lunalight Black Sheep.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Has lots of ways to make consistent boards
  • If you lead a way to do a marten combo you’re set
  • High Atks
  • Access to very powerful disruption in Loading... and Loading... .
  • Somewhat Flexible card space
  • Very good skill
Cons:
  • Very clear weak points: Chick and Wolf
  • can brick very badly and be forced to surrender
  • Can take some level of skill to play

Skills & Cards

Skill

The skill, Lunalight Alleviation has two different effects

  1. Send one Lunalight monster from your hand to the GY to change a polymerization in your hand into a Lunalight Fusion.

We will almost never use this effect, unless your list calls for a copy of polymerization; but it almost never will.

  1. Send one Lunalight monster from your hand to your GY, then send one Lunalight monster from the Deck or Extra Deck to the GY.

This effect is the main reason we use this skill. It can send any Lunalight to the GY, which grants us almost endless utility.

It does have a drawback that reads you cannot use effects of cards with the same name as the cards you send to the GY, but this is only for one turn.
