Yeah this deck's still crazy even with the skill nerf. I did have a 20 win streak at the end but lost it to a flukey dimension ground.
Powercode Talker is only there cause i don't have Underworld goddess so replace it with her if you have a copy. The 2 sanctuary actually does come up so that you just have something to set with falco's effect incase you need the field to turn your foxy online. Same thing applies to the 2 transcendence.
Veiler and especially D.D crow are a must have for this format. There are so many decks in the meta at the moment where a good banish from a D.D crow would either end their turn completely or really diminish their endboard:
- Red Rising's reborn
- Neos, Cross keeper, liquid soldier, or any Hero for miracle
- Formula synchron for Yusei decks
- any Salad with a gy effect (mostly spinny and jaguar)
- predapruning target
- The one cobalt sparrow
Its just without a doubt the most important non engine card at the moment in my opinion. Definitely run 3.
I never found myself using Beat bison, foxer, or parro but you can add them if you want the extra names. Both Recurence and Fury of Fire are important for this deck. There are alot of scenarios where you just need the extra reborn from Fury of Fire to get that extra push for game, just be wary of its Extra deck summon lock.
The one deck i was having the most trouble with would be RDA but only because the skill is busted and red reign is such a brutal trap to be unlimited. Hero is so easy to beat and telegraph its laughable (aslong as they don't have Different dimension ground or necrovalley). Synchron was annoying but i found it easy to play through as i figured out their lines and where to interact.
Anyways sorry for mucho texto, just really love this deck and i'm very proud of how well i've done in this stage 1.
