Notes & Combos

This deck is complicated: it takes time to build the habit to play it, and even then you certainly are not safe from missplays or plays that are not the best play avaiable. It's not a linear deck, but some simple BNB comboes do exist. So, your strategy changes depending on your hand and overall on what you have.

I did meet many HEROs. Many: but perhaps I lost to maybe one of them. Or maybe two of them, but this deck, if played well, can beat HERO pretty easily: you'll see below, but, for example, you can get through many activations of ARMED DRAGON LEVEL 10 effect. They're going to discard their whole hand.

This deck is very strong if played well, it survives a lot thanks to the many ways of summoning monsters during your opponent's turn to protect yourself, and thanks to the 2500 additional LP. But there's some decks it struggles with, as you may have heard: ZOMBIE WORLD. Your cards stop working against it, but whatever. And Lirylusc, because your deck targets or destroys, and those **** birds do resist that kind of stuff.

It's a very fun deck to play, and very satisfying, especially to win with GUSTAV's effect, but beware of your worst enemy: Time. The Clock. I lost more because of the clock than anything else probably, and I play fast. Not fast enough I guess.

For the cards themselves: the deck is very tight. No room for STAPLES. You could take out BARRAGE BLAST: this card is ok, decent, but I can't say it WON me games. It's a cool card though: I got to use its GY effect once. Cool stuff.

Pegasus is a game changer: you may have no resources after a long grind game (which this deck excels at): Pegasus is what you need with a full GY. Also a killer card to combo with switchyard. With it, assuming you just summoned a LVL10: you have 3 monsters on the board.

You could switch one Express for a Derricrane.

Switchyard kicks ***. It opens many ways of play. But you do need brain.

Two GUSTAVs are excellent. They are KILLER. The rank 7 excavator card stinks of a pungent smell and I always hated it. Two GUSTAVs win you games. Very good against Lirylusc, since you could end a board with two of them and, if they do not have an out and don't OTK you thanks to 6500 LP, you can win the next turn using two GUSTAVs again ;3.

You could switch one TRENCHER for one TUNNELER, so that you are certain to win longer duels, but both are fine.

I would like to write a guide for this deck. Didn't meet a single salad player. HFHF. The Potential is ENORMOUS.
