Notes & Combos
Dragline and Gantry Dragon both felt great to use, and gives Wyrms a significant boost to its explosive combo potential and buffs its already incredible grind game. Gaia in particular seems to be a surprisingly good matchup for this deck, as Wyrms can consistently outmuscle and outlast them while flooding the board with 2900 ATK boss monsters (accounting for the field spell) that are annoyingly inconvenient for them to deal with. Dragons and Psychics are still tough (they will always sack your big boss monsters and threaten OTKs with ATK reduction effects) but they're not anywhere near as common on the ladder as they used to be so it's not that big of a headache anymore.
I settled on 2x Gantry Dragon and 2x Dragline because I needed a few more slots for a couple copies of Drillzard to ensure the skill was live as much as possible. 2x Talismanic Seal Array feels non-negotiable, as outside of Gaia I ran into plenty of Maximum decks on the ladder and both Dragline and the also newly released Seedchrotron Brusselun should help make Wyrm/Cyberse max decks noticeably faster and more consistent. Card Restoration accelerates your drawing a bit and can sometimes save you from getting sniped by direct attacks from Gaia, Conqueror of Champions, so I ended up keeping a couple copies alongside Negate Attack and Slime.
