Notes & Combos

This was by far my fastest King of Games run yet, clocking in at 58 cumulative wins on stream. If you want to watch my streams and get FREE Altergeist coaching from myself, the best player in the world on the deck, you can do that by looking me up on Twitch T.V. (CrimsonReaper5). Altergeist is definitely my favorite deck, Ghost Gal is my waifu, and I feel like I've done her deck justice by KoG'ing quickly in a meta filled with decks like Unchained, Sacred Beasts, Star Seraph, Fleur, and more.

Altergeists haven't really gotten any new toys to play with lately, but I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to Needle Ceiling nuking enemy boards and essentially sacking me free wins. Needle Ceiling has great synergy with this deck since Multifaker + Silquitous combo is already 2 bodies on field so if your opponent tries to go for any Extra Deck play, you already have a live Needle Ceiling that you can spring at any time. Everything else is pretty standard, with Compulsory Evacuation Device being my preferred limit 3 of choice since it's guaranteed, easy front-row removal and lets Silquitous remove backrow.

In the future for this deck, I want it to get Altergeist Protocol and Infinite Impermanence to really make it a threat in the metagame. Altergeist Protocol would make me immune to any form of enemy negates and Infinite Impermanence is always good to have as an archetypical negate. The DUNE support would also be great, but it's not necessary due to lack of monster zones. I guess Adminia would be cool, but eh, it wouldn't make too much of a difference. Just give me Protocol and Imperm and I'm happy Konami or at least any generic trap that's useful such as Torrential Tribute bundle.

My past five games this time around were consisted of Shiranui Style Successor Yami Yugi, Card Shuffle Catapult Turtle FTK Arkana, Battle Chronicle (Dark Magician) Yami Yugi, Sacred Beast Beckoning Yubel, and Borrel Link Varis.

Replays

For replays, the first four games weren't interesting, but the KoG rankup was fun against the Borrel Link player. When he activates Skull Meister, you will learn the importance of Meluseek Chain Link One to Chain Block. I went on an 8 game winstreak to King of Games with a 97% winrate overall. Enjoy!

Also, in this replay, I bricked, hard opening a hand of double Compulse, Needle Ceiling, Manifestation, and a Pookuery.
