Notes & Combos
Speedroid with new support feels amazing. Actually feels like a TCG deck except we don't have Marble, Hound or Rubber Band Shooter. Thanks to Loom on YT for the ratios. Onto the card choices:
- 3 Yoyo: It's a starter and 1c combo. You'll always want to open it because handtraps exist.
- 0 Carturbo, 1 Duke, 1 Dice(?): Bricks. You can still play around opening Duke and Dice and deck space should be reserved for techs. Carturbo is not a high priority search target and you have full combo from Yoyo and Terrotop/Taketomborg anyway.
- 0 Wheel: SS from Deck but it actually sucks. Effects are negated so Dice can't modulate levels to go into Cork. No Marble Machine (Level 2) either, and especially no Rubber Band Shooter. If you're going to search a backrow with Cork, search Dupligate.
- Blizzard and Forbidden Lance: You definitely need these, especially Blizzard in Eclipse format. I only play 1 Blizzard because that's the only one I have. Feel free to play 2-4 copies between Blizzard/Lance. Blizzard is a Spell negate and also fully protects against Eclipse. Lance is better going second intro Traps and is basically free with chips.
- 3 Eclipse: Best Spell in the game right now. Not playing at max copies is inting.
- The ED: It's pretty much fixed except for Stardust Warrior. There's probably a line somewhere that ends on Crystal Wing + Clear Wing + Stardust Warrior but I haven't figured it out yet, but you can substitue it for smth like Chanbara or Stardust Charge.
Endboards
- Terrortop (1c): Crystal Wing + Clear Wing/Fast
- Yoyo (1c): Crystal Wing
- Yoyo + Terrotop (2c): Crystal Wing + Rider + followup from Puzzle + draw from Piper
- Yoyo + Taketomborg (2c): Crystal Wing + Rider + draw from Piper
