Notes & Combos
Speed Duel Links is in a miserable state. So I tried a bit of Rush Duel Links. Turns out Rush isn't that great either. If you go 1st you have chances of winning increased by at least 70%, just set 3 monsters and a backrow or 2 and then turn 3 and onwards go crazy. 3 Dragias decks are unfair, and so are all spellcasters decks (both Magician Shuffle and Accel Road). I had to play this suboptimal version of Dragons because it's the only deck I have outside of Lightning Voltcondor which I prefer but is underpowered. Hopefully Maximum Summons and new cards make Rush Duel Links more interesting, because right now the format is a mess (or maybe I'm just complaining because I don't want to spend money on the latest Structure Decks LOL, Ace Breaker looks interesting and I know the DMG structure is also very strong, but I ain't spending real money before we get new content but at the same time I was too impatient and wanted the 200 KoG gems now)
About the deck: it's kinda the anti-meta of the current format, since there are so many backrows and anti backrows around, I just ignore them with Slayer and Inferno (I have only 2 Slayers and 1 Inferno, if you have more play as many as you can, scr3w Widespread Ruins). The fact that I played no traps helped me vs many decks that played backrow hate without any backrow to destroy, just to clog their spell/trap zones, and the skill helps you get over 2.5k atk beatsticks (if you don't get hit by The Barrier that is)
Final thoughts: I traded my sanity for 200 gems. Was it worth it? No. Will I try to KoG again in March? Of Course. So yeah, see you next month
