Notes & Combos
combos, guia del deck y repes abajo en el link. At the bottom, I'll leave the combos and an explanation of the deck. I want to clarify that the video will be entirely in Spanish.
"My Swamp doesn't have pathetic cards, Jaden, but what it does have is the legendary Wall of Disruption! Returning with the Paleozoics, after the Paleo-Cyber deck I had previously uploaded here, I decided not to give up and try another option, which ended up yielding great results. After several attempts and tweaks, I achieved the goal with the good old Paleos.
The truth is, in this meta filled with HERO decks, they benefit from their WATER attribute. Against this deck, Super Polymerization becomes useless. From there, by controlling certain HERO threats like Rainbow Neos—which would be the main threat HERO has against this deck—the rest becomes irrelevant. It’s true that HERO also has Elemental HERO Stratos, but you can deal with that using Lord of the Heavenly Prison.
Not just that, there are also cards like Paleozoic Dinomischus that can handle the devastating effects of this card against the back row. Still, this remains a deck of luck. Generally, when Lord of the Heavenly Prison shows up in your opening hand, you can beat any deck since the main threats most decks have are Mystical Space Typhoon (MST) and Knightmare Phoenix. With these neutralized, there’s not much that can stop you.
As I always say in the trap-heavy decks I’ve uploaded, Lord of the Heavenly Prison is a god for trap decks.
Now, the return of Wall of Disruption. Why use such an old card? Basically, thanks to Lord of the Heavenly Prison, I can afford to use this card, and currently, since most players are running HERO, this card wrecks them. HERO decks fill the field with monsters, and with the Number 101: Silent Honor ARK Xyz monster, it makes for a great combo to close out duels against HERO.
Previously, I used Drowning Mirror Force, but it’s really useless against HERO in this deck because it’s slow and gives them time to summon everything back that I returned to their deck with that card. For that reason, I preferred Wall of Disruption, as it destroys them, and they can’t recover.
Deep Sea Aria is a new addition I made to the deck, and it could be considered the MVP of the deck. It allows you to get back into the duel in a tough situation or finish the duel by searching for Diva, which usually ends in an XYZ or Synchro that will likely turn the game around.
In summary, that’s the deck."
