Greetings, this is my very first time submitting a decklist on dlm so I have alot to say, especially since I enjoy reading notes from other players and love this deck.I will also post my replays although I'm not sure how good they are and I'm pretty sure they are mostly all agents or fleurs. 40% of my matches were vs fleur variants which is a very hard match-up when you have to go first since they all tribute off one monster then revive it and go into dingersu, I saw that combo so many times. I generally did not mind seeing agents as I was able to break there boards most of the time and with good draws could survive there turn 2, one funny thing I noticed is that not one single agent player conformed to the new banlist they all were still playing 5 odd limit 1s while any other deck had adjusted there list to be compliant. this is my fastest ever kog beating my previous record by 8 days. I tried so many versions of this deck last month but couldn't get past legend 3, end of month was just blue eyes and zombies 80% of time, I had a hard time with zombies due to the field spell also it was first month after reinstalling so had to dlvmax rqq in speed and rush and tried to kog both formats as well. I tried dark armed dragon x2 and liked it and won alot of games of its back alone but in the end I gave up on it, I also tried successor soul with a redeyes but I had little success with that combo. I tried ouroborus for a double hand rip if I opened right but I never once pulled it off so dropped him too. I tried decode talker and liked it but lost a few games as I wasn't able to link climb using him and usually having other motives for the card he had to tribute, also it took careful planning to setup my board correctly (same with borreload) and flashcharge was simple with a decent effect which helped alot and the amount of blue eyes players that tried to target him with succ soul was funny. I also tried tripple burst dragon but it left my turn 1 weaker and caused me issues with spacing. I tried many different things but have not changed anything this season except swapping tth for econ giving versatility and avoiding conflict with necro fusion. dillingerous dragon was great for clearing field space and providing strong follow up also it was resummoned at end of opps turn alot where it would pop a card. void ogre was great for turn 1 before using the skill, I'm surprised more don't use him, just needed to calculate if hand would be empty or not by the end. this is where I lost about 25% of my games first season... to the clock and another 25% to tiny misplays which had a large impact like not leaving the center space open for borreloads steal effect to be used or first dropping there card 500 so I didn't have lethal afterwards. despite rapid trigger and 2 necro fusion I never once went into a second borreload furious so might swap it out for decode talker but I knew as soon as I did I would regret it. droplet won me alot of games especially vs agents, shiranui and zombies. I took out lancea at one stage but the fact it near auto wins vs rebellion and shiranui I put it back in. I hardly faced any other borrel link decks but when I did they were fairly easy wins going 2nd since u can still kill riot with quadborrel that and they always handicapped themselves searching lancea so made a sub par board which was broken with quadborrel then borrelsword and due to necro fusion and just setting up a big field without trying to search lancea I won going first...perhaps I got lucky a bit too though. going forward I want to focus more on the rokket effects when targeted especially magna and possibly shell for annoying field spells, setting it up for disruption on opps turn ideally. that's enough for now. please comment, thankyou
