"You can't deceive me! So don't even try!"

Soooo I made an honest effort to KOG with Sunavalon this month, but I fear I'm not big-brained enough for it (yet!) and also got sick of getting paired up against every Zombie or Ra player in Legend 1, so in the interest of getting this over with in the limited time I had this month due to WCS climbing, I returned to an old favorite because I didn’t feel like doing KOG with Altergeist for the third month in a row.

Lunalight is kind of in a weird position right now since everybody's running Lancea which has the side effect of making Wolf useless, so as a precaution I did what I wish I didn't have to do and put in 1 Lunalight Fusion. The good news is that if you're going 2nd against Agents and they somehow fail to make Invicil, Luna Fusion into Leo plays through SBreaker and all their targeted interaction. However, Invicil in Agents is still a huge problem and if the devs are merciful enough to do anything to this deck, I pray they put it to 1 so it conflicts with Masterflare.

The other Problem we as lunar legends have is that our extra deck is extremely tight. Now that we have the incredible Arc Rebellion package, it makes it even harder to figure out what Rank 4s to squeeze in to the remaining slots. All 3 fusions are non-negotiable (I see some people not running Sabre and I wonder why, it’s integral for making OTK pushes and a solid backup plan if you can’t make Leo). I did try Dweller in place of Tiger King for a bit but it feels super weak against most matchups, AND also has the effect of making it so that I always go 2nd against decks where Dweller would be useful. The inclusion of the Arc package also means I can’t run an auxiliary Link-2 to snipe backrow, which consequently makes the Shiranui matchup entirely unwinnable if they have Samsara. Fortunately, it didn’t come up too often for it to matter.

That said, Lunalights still slay and serve OTK realness, and I managed not one but two spicy win streaks during my climb: an 8-win from Leg.2-4 and a 10-win from Leg. 5 well into KOG.
