Notes & Combos
To activate ****-Tuning Invasion, the following requirement must be met:
- There must be a set monster on either side of the field
Either of the following requirements must also be met
- There is a face-up Level 4 or lower Fiend on your side of the field
- There is a level 5 or higher monster on your opponent's side of the field
Remember that your Level 6 and below Monsters CANNOT attack the turn you use the skill, so only Heavy Metal, Invasion, and a pumped up Shadow Buyer will be able to attack. Also note that the skill only changes the level of your monsters that are already on the field and Invasion needs 2 Level 5 monsters to be tributed to activate its effect, so don't activate the skill until you have the two monsters you wish to tribute for Invasion on the field.
Your skill will also lock your flipped monsters in Attack Position if you set them that turn, so be aware that they might make your LP vulnerable during the opponent's turn. The deck can do heavy amounts of nonlethal damage only to be one-shot by Magnum Overlord.
Shadow Buyer lets Heavy Metal activate without needing to activate ****-Tuning Invasion, meaning your low level Fiends are able to attack. Shadow Buyer can also increase its level above level 6 if your opponent controls 3 monsters or have 2+ monsters after you augment its level with ****-Tuning Invasion, allowing you to squeeze in 1200 more damage.
This deck loses very hard to Widespread Ruin, so we are playing two copies of Ghost Cyclone and one copy of Genie's Fire Breath. Genie's Fire Breath is there so that you can remove S/T cards even if you have monsters out on the field.
Talismanic Seal Array (TSA) is unneeded in this build because ****-Tuning Invasion is enough to let Heavy Metal destroy Maximum Monsters and Invasion is a board wipe. In the very rare case that you only have Invasion to fend off a Maximum Monster, you can consider TSA to lower them to the point where Invasion can run them over by battle.
