Notes & Combos

My climb to KOG was very smooth. It took 91 wins, which is only around 17 losses from Gold 1 - KOG. I had to start at Gold 1 because I haven't played Duel Links in forever. 4+ losses were from me timing out on the final attack with lethal on board. As I climbed more I got more use to the timer and didn't time out as much.

The strategy of this deck going first is to just try to survive to turn 3 and then you will otk and win because the follow-up is so strong. When going first most of the time you do not want to use the skill. The turn 1 end board is just decode talker + a cyberse + crosswipe + any staples you draw. Then use the skill for follow-up. Sometimes you need end on backdoor to secure follow-up if you do not start with a firewall or a way to get to it.

I played D.D.R for a short period of time, but took it out because I realized that it is win more going 2nd and going first if you don't go for Quantum lock using D.D.R isn't any better than just drawing a staple. It gives the same amount of disruption without using the skill turn 1 so you keep follow-up.

Unlike the ritual build this build has no bricks and every card in the extra deck does something going 2nd. The going 2nd win rate is extremely high.

You have to play this deck with manual zone placement on in your settings or you can not play this deck at all.
