Any Trick Clown + Hat Tricker in hand = 2 Rank 4s if you dont' get interrupted. Skill lets you discard to find the missing piece. Normal Summon Trick Clown -> Link off -> Revive Trick Clown -> SS Hat Tricker -> Swap the Link for Damage Juggler -> Make a R4 that can premptively detach Damage Juggler -> Search Hat Tricker -> SS it and make a second Rank 4

I played board breakers because Hat Tricker promotes the playstyle. The ability to Special Summon them for free under established boards is too good and you can play very easily into PK's Evilswarm trap. If you get 2 Hat Trickers out before you even Normal Summon, Exciton Knight can clear the way for a Trick Clown Normal Summon.

I only own one Mind Control. I would play a second copy over Dwimmered Path if could. Dwimmered is nice because it lets you add Hat Tricker to push through interruption. You can also add Damage Juggler back to hand if you used two in your skill / combo line for survivability. I do not think I would play 3 Mind Control as you would have to cut down on a Performage name or backrow, which would make the build overall less consistent going first

Gem-Knight Pearl is to counter Successor Soul going first... in theory. Once I added it, I never went 1st against a Blue-Eyes ever again. The idea is that it's a non-Effect Monster (immune to Successor Soul) that's bigger than Spriit of White. If you protect it with backrow, you can force the opponents plays early, and since you arent going for the double Rank 4 plays, you should have a Damage Juggler in hand or at the very least a Trick Clown as material that will be revived once Pearl is outed.
