Notes & Combos

There may not be a lot of Dark Magician stuff in Rush right now, but I did my best with what we've got. Using all Spellcasters was a massive Phantom Bind problem that I kept running into for quite a while, until I saw another deck get KoG that's similar to this one.

Phantom Bind is extremely overused. I only have one for the situations where people are running all Dragons or all Spellcasters. It's essentially the clutch card for when the opponent has put too much into their GY.

Dark Magic Attack is definitely one card I will always include. If I'm aware that my opponent has Phantom Bind (as soon as my attack gets delayed against a non-Psychic deck, it's a massive giveaway), Dark Magic Attack is the only card that will let me nuke the opponent's chance at saving their monsters.

Problems I've found with the deck is that it will struggle a lot against Yamiruler the Dark Delayer. With no way to beat over it unless I can get Sevens Road Magician out through Sevens Road Witch, some duels are pretty much an automatic loss.
