Notes & Combos

There are many things in this world that are guaranteed, and one of those things is me once again posting a Madolche KoG list to DLM at the last possible moment.

It's honestly difficult to convey just how harsh this months KoG was; it's so apparent at this point that Madolche is ridiculously underpowered compared to everything running around now. The standard Madolche endboard is so ineffective that passing on it vs just about any relevant deck is almost certainly going to get you killed. Truthfully, it's kind of infuriating that Duel Link's power is so high now, yet we still can't have Anjelly, Salon and the like. When?????

On the flipside, with Madolche Striker teched out to go second, the winrate for that is actually quite good, provided you aren't facing down a board like Lyrilusc or Time Thief (horrible matchup for us btw.)

For deck changes, I cut Ticket because it's been doing a whole lot of nothing recently, due to either bricking on it, or just constantly being in situations where Summoning with it on the opponent's turn will likely kill me. I added the second Widow Anchor, to both make Glass + 2 Anchors a possible (and usually superior) endboard, and to just have more non-engine.

For the replays, I got quite a couple this time as usual. Also, I got stuck in Legend 5 purgatory for a pretty long time, despite getting two 5-win streaks and a 7-win streak on the way up, iirc. Eventually, the game took pity on me and let me have a going second hotstreak to make it through. Thank god.
