Notes & Combos

Very smooth climb overall (41 wins - 5 losses).

Went on a 13 games winstreak to DLv. Max (on my first try).

D-Hero variant is less explosive but more defensive compared to other HERO variants.

Dark Hole wasn't very helpful - Replace it with BOM.

Bad Matchups : PK (if they have too much backrow), HERO Alliance (Super Poly is a hard counter), Rose Dragon (if they manage to summon Ruddy Turn 2), Mekk-Knight (if you destroy the wrong set card), Timelords.

Deck Strategy

• Going first : you must have a D-Hero in hand in order to activate the skill. If not, rely on your backrow and pray. Summoning Fusion monsters on Turn 1 won't help against agressive decks. Keep them for Turn 2 OTK.

• Opponent's turn : MST the Clock tower - summon Dreadmaster and other D-Heroes (which are undestructible by battle and cards effect). On your next turn : OTK.

• Going second : Use your Clock tower to search your MST. Destroy one of their set cards with it. Then, spam the extra deck to OTK your opponent.

Tips

• Your opponent can "toggle on" during his draw phase in order to get rid of your clock tower with MST/Cosmic before it gains it's 4th counter. You then lose your main protection.

• Going first : If you have stratos in your hand - search Decider. Send it to the GY with the skill. Dreadmaster will revive Decider. Activate it's effect to add back Stratos. Summon it on your next turn to destroy backrow or search. Use your monsters to XYZ/Link to set up your GY. Fusion Summon to further set up your board and OTK.

• Celestial in the GY is useless if you can't empty your hand (sometimes you have too much draw power).

• Drilldark can summon a D-Hero from your hand when revived by Dreadmaster which helps surviving during your opponent's turn. If you have another D-Hero in hand, it's a one card XYZ summon. Much more versatile than Celestial.

• It's very important to have Poly in order to push for OTK. Turn 1 : Use Stratos to grab Blazeman for Turn 2. If you already have poly - use Stratos to search or use Blazeman to send Liquid to the GY.
