Notes & Combos
I achieved a 73% win rate with my deck and also got a 10 game win streak. I'm thrilled to have reached King of Games again after months of not playing. I'm a free to play player, and I had limited resources for new cards and had to wait to build this deck. My resources and current deck just can't compete with the current format due to the introduction of Lyrilusc, which hinders almost every deck that relies on target removal/staples. I also took a hiatus for a couple of months due to real life commitments. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play Evil Eye because the current format makes it really hard, especially with Predaplant ridding the main strategy of the deck, and I also lack access to Droplet for LL matchup.
The combo is quite standard if you know it, using Rakea or Aruha alongside any Unchained trap card will typically end with Rage and the Unchained trap. I’ve included Needle Ceiling as a staple choice, it serves as one of my non-targeting removal options, which is generally a strong trap choice and a strong interruption overall. Additionally, I’m using Storm, as it can lead to instant wins and synergizes well with the Unchained spells and traps. If you can resolve Storm at the right time, it provides tremendous value.
Storm and Needle Ceiling complement the deck well due to how it functions. I don't have Knightmare Unicorn, but if you do, definitely add it and remove Brute Enforcer. You can change Needle Ceiling and Storm to any staples you like, but in my opinion, they are the best options for this deck. You can also add Dingirsu if you have it, but you can run this deck effectively without it, as the instances where you would need it are very rare.
