Notes & Combos

This is my standard deck that I run when I'm trying to push characters to level 30, and is normally the deck I use when I play online. It's not perfect, but it was fairly easy to get all the cards, and it has a surprisingly good strong performance against other strategies.

The strategy: The point of this deck is to neutralize high value cards. The easiest way to do this, is to use the carrier to return cards to the player's hand, or the Stealth to return cards to the hand. Helix is useful, but only for strategies that depend heavily on face-up spell cards, I would use the Helix to eliminate a face-down with caution, because the player could still activate it. The Wightprincess is great as a defensive measure, and can really help you destroy high attack monsters.

First turn: I try to get a Scout, Carrier/Helix, and the equip spell on the field for the first turn. The big difference maker is whether or not you have a Wightprincess because it makes a difference in the duel. I am biased towards using turn two to get Stealth on the field, because it means I can usually return 1-2 cards to someone's hand, and if I'm lucky, destroy a spell card. This means I tend to only use Pulse Mines on the first turn.

Other tips: Depending on your playstyle, it might be more useful to have two pulse mines and no Game Controller, and reduce the deck by one card to add a Shell. Sometimes I like to play with two Shells and focus on using spells/traps to get everything face down.
