Announcement from , TPC Manager

This is the first Tier List for your new Top Player Council! Be sure to give them a warm welcome!

Disclaimer: this week's Tier List is not based on results, as we only recently received the new HERO support. As such, nothing can really be said based on experience, just on the first impression and the few games we seen so far. That said, the new HERO deck has not seemed to have an insane Tachyon-level domination, so the deck feels beatable and not a Tier 0 meta like some might be claiming,.

Tier 1

There are 2 new cards that stand out amongst the HERO support: Loading... and Loading... . Now HEROs can draw a lot of cards (with Loading... and Cross Keeper) and dig for the techs they need, and they have Loading... to use at the end of the combo to secure the win after all the interruptions are forced. The nature of this deck is a double-edged sword, the fact that you can potentially draw into any tech card makes it extremely hard to deal with consistently, but the fact that it can also draw into nothing to protect you makes it not reliable enough to be considered Tier 0.

What is there to say? Dragonic Contact , the broken Skill, has gained even more support and has pushed it to sole Tier 1. With not many events posted post-Structure it'll be interesting to see if it dominates the meta once it's settled or if the counters even out it's spots in Top Cuts

Although it's only been 1-2 days since the release of the HERO Structure Deck, we’re already seeing some trends in deck building. Some players have chosen to include Loading... as a way to destroy opponent's backrow, which can be particularly useful in the mirror match to snipe an opponent’s Loading... . Loading... has also seen some experimentation, as sending a Spell card prevents your opponent from chaining Super Polymerization to it.

Additionally, some players have opted to include Loading... in their builds. This card prevents your face-down cards from being destroyed by card effects, stopping MST and Loading... from clearing your backrow and Loading... from destroying your face-down monsters.

Tier 2

TPC Comments

There's not much to say about the about Lyrilusc aside from its HERO matchup: it does pretty well into it thanks to Loading... protecting from the OTK, Loading... trading with the Loading... , and HEROs' lack of supplemental in-engine removal (Loading... returns your Xyz Monsters to the Extra Deck so you can just Summon them back). It's true that HEROs can play Loading... , Loading... , or Loading... , but these cards aren't the best into every matchups. Lyrilusc is probably the third-best deck in the meta, so it seems pretty solid.
